- Notification of Major Interest in Shares
Genting Berhad
On 7 February 2008, the Company received notification (under the obligations
imposed by Section DTR5 of the FSA's Disclosure & Transparency Rules) from
Genting Berhad that, as at 4 February 2008, Genting Berhad had a notifiable
interest in the voting rights attached to 43,092,136 Ordinary 13 8/9p shares
representing 11.03% of the total voting rights in The Rank Group Plc.
The interest is registered in the name of Palomino Limited which is a
wholly-owned subsidiary of Genting International Plc, which is a subsidiary of
Genting Berhad.
